Aquascene: 28 Doctor Gully Rd., at end of the Esplanade.  Thousands of fish of many varieties come in at high tide to be fed by hand.  Opening times depend on tide.

Mt. Coot-tha Botanic Gardens:  Mt Coot-tha Rd, Toowong.  Extensive gardens specializing in tropical and sub-tropical plants.  The Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium, the largest in Australia, is located in the gardens.  Mt Coot-tha Lookout provides excellent views over Brisbane and Moreton Bay.
