North Stradbroke Island: Largest of the Moreton Bay island (37km by 11km) and noted for its beautiful surfing beaches and many natural attractions. It has a resident population of about 3,000 and very good holiday facilities. Accessible by light aircraft and vehicular ferry from Cleverland.
