Port Arthur. About 100km SE Hobart. The side of the colony’s main penal settlement between 1830 and 1877. The side covers several hectares and many buildings have been carefully preserved to show the life of the era. Museum, audioivisual displays, guided tours including mysterious after dark “ghost” tour by lampsight.
