A chain of sandy beaches beginning at Caloundra, about 96 km north of Brisbane, and stretching for about 140 km. it includes a number of resort towns, national parks, beautiful rainforest and mountain scenery, dairy farms, sugarcane and tropical fruit plantations. At the Big Pineapple, near Nambour, you can tour a tropical fruit and nut plantation and sample the fruit.
